TracksThe Assembly of Black Possibilities is organized into tracks that focus on key areas of work and inquiry. Each track brings people together around a central theme and offers space for exploration, learning, and connection.

Art & Culture


This assembly track will provide guests an opportunity to learn from artists who are building and sustaining art practices. Participants will have the opportunity to explore strategies for overcoming barriers, building partnerships, and leveraging resources to build thriving practices companies that preserve their cultural legacy and creative autonomy.

Black Investing


This assembly track explores the ways individuals and communities are investing their financial resources in businesses, projects, and initiatives owned and operated by other Black entrepreneurs or organizations.

Black Solidarity Economy


This assembly track centers the principles and practices that underpin cooperative economics, mutual aid, and collective ownership in Black communities. Attendees will explore how solidarity economy models are being used to build power, redistribute resources, and create sustainable institutions rooted in care, accountability, and self-determination.

Impact Investing


This assembly track will explore the potential of impact investments in supporting the growth of our businesses and local economies. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about innovative financing models and investment vehicles that prioritize social impact and financial returns.

Land & Real Estate


Attendees will learn about community land ownership and community-driven real estate practices. Together, we will celebrate the impact of these initiatives and envision a future where American cities and towns thrive as beacons of equity and opportunity for all.

Organizing


This assembly track will explore the role of community organizing in building an economy built on trust and well-being for all, emphasizing the process of power building to drive collective empowerment and sustainable growth.
